Legislative Work

For the 2017-2018 legislative session, Jon filed bills concerning consumer protection, disabilities, election reform, the environment and energy, housing, human rights, municipalities, privacy, public health, state employees, tax fairness, and transportation. In addition to organizing and advocating for his own legislation, Jon actively works with his colleagues to see that the legislature takes progressive positions on the most important issues it addresses. He is a consistent voice for combating addiction, greenhouse gas reduction, world-class public transport, an equitable taxation system, and transparency in government.
